Job Summary
As a chef or cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality Thai dishes, from traditional curries to innovative stir-fries. You’ll work closely with our Head Chef to ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen is perfectly crafted and full of flavor.

Location: Kitchai Thai Restaurant, Edmondson Park, NSW
Job Type: Casual/Part-time/Full-time (Flexibility for the right candidate)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + tips
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes following our authentic Thai recipes while maintaining high-quality standards.
Menu Development: Collaborate on creating new dishes and specials that incorporate fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Efficiency: Work swiftly and efficiently in a busy kitchen, maintaining focus and precision.
Inventory Management: Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Health & Safety: Follow all food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Mentorship: Guide and support junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive atmosphere.
Criteria & Qualifications:
Experience: At least 2 years of experience cooking Thai cuisine or in an Asian-inspired kitchen.
Passion for Thai Cuisine: Strong understanding of Thai flavours, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Attention to Detail: Consistent in preparing high-quality dishes with perfect presentation.
Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
Team Player: Collaborative and communicative, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
