As a waiter at Kitchai Thai, you’ll be the face of our restaurant, providing top-notch service to every guest. You’ll ensure our guests feel welcome, make personalized recommendations, and deliver dishes with professionalism and charm. Position Title: Waiter
Location: Kitchai Thai Restaurant, Edmondson Park, NSW
Job Type: Casual/Part-time/Full-time (Flexibility for the right candidate)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + tips
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure an enjoyable dining experience.
- Menu Knowledge: Be well-versed in our menu and provide recommendations, including understanding of dish ingredients and drink pairings.
- Order Management: Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dining area tidy, reset tables, and assist in maintaining a clean environment.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest concerns with grace and escalate issues when necessary.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow waitstaff, kitchen staff, and bartenders to ensure smooth service flow.
Criteria & Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Customer Focus: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Communication Skills: Clear and engaging communication, with a friendly and positive demeanor.
- Efficiency: Ability to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team Player: Willingness to assist colleagues and adapt to changing situations.
