As a kitchen hand, you will play a crucial role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. From food prep to maintaining cleanliness, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, supportive environment that values teamwork and efficiency.

Position Title: Kitchen Hand
Location: Kitchai Thai Restaurant, Edmondson Park, NSW
Job Type: Casual/Part-time/Full-time (Flexibility for the right candidate)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + tips
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Prep: Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Dishwashing: Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness of all kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Stocking: Organise and store ingredients and supplies, ensuring everything is easily accessible.
- Cleanliness: Keep the kitchen clean and sanitised, following all health and safety regulations.
- Support: Assist chefs and cooks during busy periods and carry out other tasks as needed.
Criteria & Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Team-Oriented: A strong work ethic and willingness to assist the team wherever needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as required.
- Punctuality: Reliable and committed to maintaining a consistent work schedule.
